🏀 Basketball Tournament Information

Event Date: June 28, 2025
Location: Cambridge City Park, Cambridge, Ohio

Check-In: 8:00 AM
Pool Play Begins: 9:00 AM

DIVISIONS

YOUTH:

  • Youth Co-ed (Grades 6–8)

  • High School Boys (Grades 9–12)

  • High School Girls (Grades 9–12)


ADULT:

  • Men’s League (Ages 18–34)

  • Men’s League (Ages 35+)

  • Women’s League (Ages 18–34)

  • Women’s League (Ages 35+)


    Note:     Player age is determined based on the Saturday of event weekend. Players under 18 must be entering appropriate grade in August of 2025. All players must fit their division's age/grade eligibility.

    Final brackets and prize structure are dependent on total participation. Divisions may be adjusted if necessary.

REGISTRATION

Fee: $200 per team
Registration Deadline: June 15, 2025
Deposit: $50 required to secure your team's spot

PRIZES

Youth and High School Divisions:
Non-cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Adult Divisions (18+):
Cash prize for 1st place (amount based on total event participation).

GAME RULES:

Team Composition: 3 players on court, 1 substitute (4 total).
Format: 2 pool play games → single elimination bracket.
Court Setup: Half-court games.
Game Duration: First to 21 points or 25-minute limit (whichever comes first).
Scoring: 1 point inside the arc, 2 points beyond the arc.
Fouls: Offense calls fouls…
- 6 fouls per player (after which they are out).
- No free throws — fouled team retains possession.

Other Important Rules:
-Must "check up" after each basket.
- No dunking during warm-ups or games.
- Games may continue, even if teams are short players (3, 2, or 1).
Tie-breakers: Sudden death — coin toss to decide first possession; first basket wins.

Officials: 1–2 officials assigned per court for tournament games.
Players must monitor their schedules. Game time is forfeit time.
